Last mile shunting for sugar trains

The sugar season has begun, meaning sugar trains are frequently traveling to unloading points. Last week, just like last year, RSN was ready to provide last mile services to a sugar unloading point in the Port of Antwerp. Because there is no overhead line available here, our client brought full sugar wagons with an electric locomotive to the Lillo yard. From there, we took over with our diesel locomotives. We positioned the full sugar wagons at the unloading point and, after unloading, returned the wagons to the yard.
