Wheel measurement

It happens regularly that the locomotive has to go to the turning machine for the turning of the wheels. As this is an expensive procedure, it is recommended to measure the wheels periodically. An analysis can be made by means of these measurements and, if necessary, action can be taken in time to avoid that too much material is taken off the wheels during a ground wheel lathe procedure. At the same time, one can establish a prognosis of the wheels’ lifespan via graphics. A 3-monthly measurement is recommended.

Overhaul of locomotive parts

Parts are overhauled in our maintenance facility. This can save the client 30% or more (depending on the wear on the part)
